- Been under loads of work that just may end soon. I don't know if I can keep my job much longer. My retail support position ended at the end of December, and I've been floating between projects and busy work every since. We've had Victoria, our niece added to the family unit. I don't know how long she's going to stay with, possibly just until the end of school, possibly a little longer, possibly a lot longer. We'll find out when it happens. She's been great for Elizabeth, and is a really good/smart kid.

- BTW, GeeksOfRage.com is live now. Has been for a couple of months. Still need a mascot. This picture in this article has the right idea. Make him mad and armed with a soldering gun, some crimpers, and some other geek gadgets made to look like weapons and the jackpot would be hit.

- I hooked up the speakers on my main machine and played some UnrealTournament. Thats the first time I've played a real video game in forever. I'm not counting Flash games and Java applets at work. I also helped to find my girlfriends sister a car. A little more than she wanted to spend but I think it was a good buy. After all that was done, the ultimate. I got a hair cut. No more hanging around the bottom of my face when uncombed. I tell my grandparents in nearby Conroe they're going to be great-grandparents. They take it well. They want to know when the wedding is.

- After much sitting next to my desk unhooked I finally hooked up my computer. I'm still not online so it's not going to do a lot of good but I figured I would update this anyways. You're reading it now right? So yeah, I got back online eventually. I had Jon help me run some TV cable to. I still can't figure out how I'm going to get it into the attic. There's not enough crawl space or good hollow points to pull wire in this house. At least not accessible space. I bought a fishing snake and everything. Running the cable outside the house just seems tacky to me.

- I tell my granparents in West Texas they're going to be great grandparents. They take it well. They want to know when the wedding is. Then I call my sister. I tell her she's going to be an aunt. She's extreamly happy, maybe estatic. She want to know when the wedding is.

- Bummer. My girlfriends sister got kicked out of the half way house. Now she and two of her kids are crashing with us. At least she does some cleaning and other help around the house, hopefully she can stay ahead of the kids.

- The Realm of Dave goes offline for an indefinate amount of time. When it returns it will be GeeksOfRage.com but that will have to wait until moving expenses settle.

- I signed on the house. Imediately to packing and moving junk that night, as a matter of fact I had crap in the back of my car at the signing to take directly afterwards. It didn't quite work out that way, my girlfriend tried to keep me on the phone so much I burned a bunch of hours just waiting around the horn. Oh well, we got to it eventually.

- My girlfriend washed my mobile phone. Doesn't bother me that much, the timings bad because of the house but other than that it's a small freedom. I've found that I rely on it more as a time piece and an address book than I knew.

- Dropped by my old job and visited, it was officialy for house buisness and earnings statements. I actually had a more personal visitation purpose in mind.

- Was told I was okayed for the loan, the seller liked my offer. I'm getting a house.

- I got StarCraft working with Wine! Diablo is acting funky but it does load up the initial movie and screens. I really want to get Gabrial Knight 2 and 3 going. I guess now that Loki is gone I should just give in and take advantage of the transgaming site.

- Man did I over sleep today. Fortunately no body seems mad. I was only about 3 hours late to work.

- Went to a kiddie themepark/arcade called Celebration station. It started raining so we didn't get to make use of our all day passes on go carts at all and only on the bumper boats once. Wouldn't have been so bad to just hang out in the arcade but they don't seem to be able to keep their machines in good repair. To bad, if they contact me I can repair most of their JAMMA games without a hitch, some of their pinball problems quite easily. Probably have a little bit of trouble with the kiddie robotic games but I could probably fix some of those to. I'll do it for $20 an hour, which isn't much, they would get a bargain out of that.

- Got my webcam working! Still not working the way I want, maybe that will be resolved when I get a new motherboard.

- Went to my girlfriends moms house and watched all the little kids hunt Easter eggs. Need to contact my grandparents since I haven't made it over that way recently, and I'm sure they half expected me. I didn't even get my parents called until 21:30 that night, my time has definately been full.

- Got plastered! First time I've really gotten drunk in six months. Met up with a couple of my old bossess and some old coworkers and drank at the Dog House until about 11:15 last night. Sure that wasn't to late but we started early and I didn't eat yesterday so it added up.

- My roommate got arrested! Nothing big, old unpaid ticket that he actually tried to take care of a month before but they claimed he didn't have anything. Well he did. Turns out bail bond places don't sale money orders. That was the most walking I've done in a really long time, I guess since security, even then I didn't keep up that pace. I should have taken one of my Celebrex last night despite the side effects, my joints are acheing today.

- Went to see E.T. with my girlfriend, her mom and step dad, and two of her nephews. It was a fun time. The kids did get wrestles towards the end of the movie and definately got wrestless in the resturaunt afterwards. I think they did well for sitting still for nearly three hours.
