What are the chances of you actually catching me here? If you do I hope I'm not running around in my underwear. If the pictures black it's probably because the lights off in my room, not because the cameras not working. The camera usually has this nasty green tint to it when it does work, this isn't the cameras fault as far as I can tell but the webcam programs. When I view it with xawtv it looks fine. If anyone knows of a better/more up to date Linux webcam program that will work with an IBM cam let me know, or if you have better drivers that will make the IBM cam work on my VIA chipset let me know. The only reason my webcam ever goes off line (other than when I unplug it for an occasional privacy reason) is that it's connected to my notebook, leaving my notebook plugged in and at home doesn't make much sense now does it?
